Promotional
Launch Your Podcast
We will create an account in Libsyn (or cleint’s preferred platform) and submit it to Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify
Unless otherwise directed, we will create a Gmail account for the podcast and use that to submit to Google Podcasts
Apple Podcasts can be submitted directly through Studio Americana or through the client’s Apple ID
We should probably create a tutorial on how to submit to Apple with your own Apple ID
Spotify is submitted through Libsyn, but clients can also create their own Spotify account to “claim” the podcast once submitted.
Following approval of all three platforms, Studio Americana then transfers the Libsyn (or similar) account to the client.
Libsyn charges anywhere from $5-$20 per month to store audio, depending on how much you’re recording and what level of statistics you want to see.
Highlight Clip
A highlight clip is a piece of audio extracted from an episode that is then used as a promotional “teaser” on the front of the final version.
