Michael, Producer / Editor
Ian Levitt spent spent 20 years in broadcasting prior to starting Studio Americana, a recording studio focused on podcast and audiobook production. As a husband and father, he has a deep appreciation for the value of time. Allowing his clients to save time on the technical aspects of podcasting is a major goal of Studio Americana. When he’s not working or spending time with his family, you might find Ian cooking up a homebrew IPA in the backyard or brushing up on his Muy Thai boxing.
A lover of animals and a supreme digital athlete. My name is Mike I am a producer and engineer at Studio Americana. I like working with audio equipment and I take pride in how our studio looks and performs. My experience comes from surviving nearly 10 years in the radio industry. I've been a member of the KQ morning show, a wild child jock named Mac on Minneapolis's big bad rock station 93X and a hootenanny throwing DJ on Hot Country K95.3 in the lovely town of Willmar, Minnesota. I've been working with audio equipment since I found my grandfather's tape recorder at the age of 6 and I haven't stopped. When I'm not working I prefer to be spending my time with my dogs, bowling with my family/friends and crushing my enemies in online video games.
